hey all i have been following byc for a couple of months now and its had been so very helpful!! My husband and I added 4 chicks to our family: 2 orpington hens and 1 Jersey Giant (we think??)hen and 1 rooster, in March. I have to say its been alot more fun then i thought it would be, I have anxiety and I find that taking care of the chickens, or even just feeding them or watching them has been quite relaxing. I have 3 girls 10, 6 and 5 and they adore helping. We are all learning together as a family, and very much enjoying our flock I finally joined BYC because the help has been tremendous, and i enjoy reading the posts. Thanks all for all of the info and help.
