Hey all! I’m new here but not necessarily new to chickens. I’ve had chickens in the past and with moving I had to give them up. But; I just got 17 new babies 
I’m super excited to be a chick mama again!
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I first got chickens about 4 years ago. Had them for awhile and had to move to a place where I couldn’t keep them anymore. I haven’t raised chickens for 2 years.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
17 babies!
(3) What breeds do you have?
Rhoad island reds
Americanas
silver laced wyandottes
australorp
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Watching them be “chickens” they are funny, social creatures. And of course the eggs lol
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
in lieu of my chicks I have a cow, pig, 2 dogs and 2 cats. My kids are definitely learning all the aspects of raising ani
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found this group based off some searches In google. I’ve known about BYC for 4 years I just never joined till now!
