Hello my name is Bronze and I have 3 brown chickens and 1 white chicken i did have 6 but 2 died one hung it self i say that because it got caught in a wire and thats how we found her was hanging and the other a cat got her. so now i take every precaution to protect my hens My kids have recently added 2 duck but they are still 2weeks old but one died today and the other wont stop quaking been making noises for like almost 2hrs now so if any one has any advice please let me know. but my chickens are like my kids when they hear my voice they stat making noise and come running to me.. No offense to the ladies but i call all my hens B#$%hes i dont know why but i love them they follow me everywhere i go Now it time to learn more about raising ducks

Ducks are very social creatures, and they should have one or more companions. Try searching your local Craigslist for more ducks.

While you are looking for a companion, add a mirror or a stuffed animal to keep it distracted.
