Hello, I’m new to the group so here is my intro. I have had chickens for at least 7 or 8 years now. My flock is currently down to 9 members. I have Rhode Island reds, Easter Eggers, a gold laced, a sweet rooster this is a few different things (from my neighbors), a Russian orloff, and a couple barred rocks. We’re on a farm with a couple steer and some horses, dogs and cats. My hens are pretty spoiled with daily table scraps, and sometimes some cat food, a huge run and a nice coop. We have all kinds of predators here but have figured out how to keep them at bay (fingers crossed no critter pulls out a new trick). In the future we will be adding to the flock and putting them on our fields with our cattle and horses for the summer. I am also hoping to raise meat birds on the future.
