Congrats on deciding to share your life with chickens!

Will your house chickens be indoors all the time or are you planning on field trips outdoors? My Dottie lives in a huge dog crate in the dining room, but enjoys going outdoors for sunshine, fresh air and dust baths. Sometimes, she's a little reluctant to come back when she should, but I can always lure her with her favorite treat, grapes.

Letting her out also gives me a chance to clean her "house." She's just finishing up annual molt and feathers have flown everywhere!
