warning its not a nice story.
i started off with a hatchery order of six, one died shortly after arrival, lost one to bullying in the brooder (they started picking on her while i was at work and by the time i made it home it was too late) i lost two to heatstoke the first day they lived outside(what was supposed to be a pleasnt day ended up being our hottest day of the year. i tried again but a week after those four went outside my lab mix got in the coop and we didnt find out until morning so all 6 were gone. so im not trying again until i am on property and can put a good fence between my dog and them. odly she leaves the ducks alone( plus shes not allowed outside un supervised)
