We have at least a couple of things in common. You and I have about the same number of chickens, and I bought my acreage so my beloved miniature goats would have some place to live.

And, unless you are a serious breeder, who cares about your chickens' pedigrees? Beautiful hens that lay lovely eggs sounds good to me.

Good evening,
Stopping in to introduce myself.
I'm Nancy from Georgia.
I have raised chickens off and on most of my adult life. Chickens and goats are my favorite farm animals.
Right now I have 20 chickens of mixed breeds. Most I hatched myself from breeds I bought at Tractor Supply a couple of years ago.
Pretty sure some of the ones I bought ended up not being what they were advertised to be. Lol
But that's ok they are still beautiful and lay me some eggs.
