1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
New to breeding but have had yard chickens for a couple of years now.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
About 60 +/-
(3) What breeds do you have?
EE, Salmon Faverolle, Dark light and buff brahma, Bielefelder, blue cochin standard, French Black Copper Maran, and several other breeds
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Gathering the eggs and just the basic interaction with them
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Just work and farm chores
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Structural Steel/ welding inspector, welder. Have a farm, so lots of animals. Kids and grandkids. Several pets (most of my animals are pets and get spoiled ).
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
just found it today doing a search for some cochin bantams (lemon blue and brown red).
