Hi there my family and I are new to the chicken world! We have 8 chickens, 3 Rhode Island Reds, 2 Lavender Orpington‘s and 3 Easter Eggers. They are about 15 weeks old and surprisingly (to me any way) all of our baby chicks we brought home survived! 
Hubby made our coop with our teen boys a great 2 day project for them. I really enjoyed all the post I have read from your website these past few months. Here are a few pxts…hard to tell but we have an exsisting dog run 10x4 plus under the coop 6x4, we have an aditional ‘dog run’ arriving next week so they will have additional space outside for a total of apprx 104sq ft. Then another ’dog run‘ by fall for a total of 140sq ft.
