We found 2 eggs today. One my husband found outside in a winter boot mat thing(I attached a photo he sent me where he found it), and I found the other one in a nest box. Can anyone help on possibly which one of my ladies would have laid these. I have silkies and polish x wyandottes and 1 sapphire gem.

Congrats on the Egg's, The Best of Luck with your Hen's. You could temporarily separate them till they lay there next Egg's then you'll know.

My guess is, not the silkie. Theirs are smaller ones.

If they're new layers, that's kind of typical though to either lay ones that aren't shaped right, are shellless or they just drop the egg where they are as they don't know what they're doing yet.
