Hello. My name is Sagrario. I moved to the Hartford-Wethersfield line about 15 months ago with my three children. I came from the city of Lynn, MA. I’m a single mother and medical assistant. I work for a non-profit organization. I love gardening, preserving, camping, cooking, and the outdoors, but most of all, I love spending time with loved ones. I would like to participate in community events and volunteer at farmer's markets, local farms, etc. The first ten years of my life were spent in the Dominican Republic, where my parents grew all kinds of fruits and vegetables, as well as pigs, chickens, and ducks. There were always fresh eggs, milk, and vegetables at our kitchen table. I would like to grow as much food as possible in my small garden. I'm not an expert, but I do love growing my own vegetables. I want to learn about raising chickens, soap making, candle making, and having my very own tiny homestead. Please feel free to give me any suggestions. I really appreciate any help you can provide.
