Hello, we're new to raising chickens. My Aunt has gifted us one of her smaller coops and 2 Bantam hens. As well as 2 laying boxes. We're here to learn more tips and tricks from others on how to care for our girls right. My aunt has over 30 hens various breeds and two roosters herself and I would love to get more eventually looking to have 8 hens. We have a smaller back yard than she does. I also love to garden we love to hang out playing soccer an BBQ in the backyard so we will be around the girls all the time. My husband and I are nurses. Gardening helps me keep my sanity between work and raising 2 boys. Glad to have found the BYC community.
