My husband and I are getting back into chickens as adults.
Our families both raised chickens for eggs in our formative years.
We live in Alaska.
We are on one acre, and looking to be fairly self sufficient, with the hopes of getting a goat or two as well, as our raw cow share will not be around forever.
We have 18 Bantam Cochins and 3 Americanas.
Not at all what we had planned on starting out with, but I will expound up on that in the correct thread.
We also raised 50 Cornish X this summer.
