Hi I'm new here also and we have two little Dewlap Toulous geese that we named Gus and Ms Lily. Gus is just starting to get his wing feathers. Your's must be a couple of weeks older then ours, your Gus has a lot more feathers. Yes they sure do grow fast don't they, its almost like you can see them grow. What state are you in, we are in Texas and it was 95 yesterday and I think it is going to be hot again today. The thing is with my little ones they won't get in there little pool by themselves I have to go out and put them in. They get so hot they just sit there with there mouth open trying to cool off until they get in the water then they are in heaven. I guess when they get hot enough they will get in on there own. Nice being on here to watch everybodies babies grow they are just so cute. I just went back and senn that you already answered my question of what state your in, nice that is is warming up a little up there. We used to live on the coast up there in a little town called Illwaco my husband was a commercial fisherman so we always lived on the coast. I'm happy with the warm weather down here.
They really do grow fast! Lucy is just over a month old and Gus is about 17 days old.I live up in WA state it's been a pretty nice spring so far and has been in the 60-80 range almost every day.The grass grows like crazy so the little ones never have a shortage of grass and weeds to feed on.You should post some pics of your little ones! I'd love to see them!Hi I'm new here also and we have two little Dewlap Toulous geese that we named Gus and Ms Lily. Gus is just starting to get his wing feathers. She is getting so big, and losing her baby down on her head so cute, and Gus has really grown too. They go though so many phases it's really hard to say if she'll stay cuddly but enjoy it while she is,. How about Gus does he like to cuddle you or only Lucy?Lucy has become quit the camera hog! She constantly blocks Gus out of the shots.... She has been really standoffish lately but today she was extra clingy which was good to see. Is this just a phase that she will grow out of?
Your the flock leader. He used to follow me around instead of her but he is all about her now. But he follows her and she follows me.
