Hey - I 'm new here but not to chickens. Been raising them for about 11 years. However I am SUPER new to pigeons and about to load my incubator with quail eggs!.

Our neighbor fell ill and have us all his baby/weaned pigeons.... So now we have them and learning a lot.

I've wanted quail for years and found out a guy my husband works with raises them and hes giving me 100 eggs to incubate tomorrow! talk about jumping in!!

I have everything ready for them once they hatch and so excited! Cant wait to interact all of you!

Glad you joined us at Backyard chickens. There is a thread on here for doves, and pigeons - Am often surprised to see the gorgeous varieties they come in. never would imagine they were pigeons.
