Eggs were shipped to me accidentially, so we ended up building a really fast incubator with a cooler, a fan, light bulb etc. We just haid our furnace replaced and it came with a new programmable thermostat, so we used the old one as the thermostat for the light. It only goes up to 99 degrees and then it shuts off the light. I bought another little thermostat/humidity thing at Walmart and that is reading the temperature lower than the programmable thermostat is. Right now it seems like the temperature is somewhere between 95/96 and 99 degrees (which is what the programmable is reading) pretty steadily. Humidity is settled between 40-45%...
So I have no idea what temperature is actually correct...if it IS infact only 95-96 degrees in there, will the whole hatch be a bust?
