Hi,
I realize this is probably a topic that has come up often but will ask anyways

We live near Portland, Oregon and have been raising chickens for eggs. We have a couple of healthy happy chickens that have recently stopped laying and need to find new homes for them. Does anyone have any interest in the chickens or suggestions? We are not interested in eating them so butchering is not an option.

How old are your hens? Are you sure they have stopped laying/ There may be other compelling reasons - like HOT weather. parasites inside or out, molt. If you truly feel you need to rehome them you can advertise on the BYC buy,sell,trade FORUM or "free animals need of rehoming." BUT you need to have 20 posts first before you can participate.

Maybe somebody in your state thread knows of a sale etc https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/48/oregon/0_20 You can try places like Craigslist or the feed store.
