Hi everyone! I have been following backyard chickens for a long time! I have had chickens for years but unfortunately I live Ik a community where our house was new and I did not realize you could not keep chickens, although I kept my ducks. No worries, I have the-hole my chickens to a close family friend who just loves them!! I have learned a lot of the years of raising these beautiful ducks. They are all Pekins. I have had some horrible experiences with some though but right now I have a three male Pekins. One will be two years old and had an infection in his leg and was operated on, but he walks and is ok, just a little limp. He went through a lot. You would never know it though!! He plays snd swims and runs around, just with a bit of a limp. The other two are 7 months old. They are all naked... Jax, Jett, and Jovi. My husband and I built a beautiful pond and enclosure with a lot of room and a beautiful coop with radiant heat for winter.
Unfortunately, I have to re-home them. It is something I don’t want to do this, I truly don’t, and it absolutely breaks my heart, but has now become over whelming for me. I live in PA... please if anyone is seriously interested please contact me through backyard chickens and I will give you my cell number. I would like them to be in a good home, safe from predators and not be used for meat. Thank you all!!!
