New house came with chickens!

Thank you so much. May I introduce you to Pepper? She is the first to greet me daily, and we don't know her breed. Pepper lays pale green eggs. I hope this is a good enough picture for her breed to be identified.

She is very friendly and outgoing. Unfortunately, the chickens were not handled much while growing up, so none were happy to be held or touched. I sit with them most days, so they have gotten used to being close to me. Pepper lays rather smallish eggs almost daily and is fun to be around. In fact, she's one of our favorite girls.
