New in California to keeping chickens

Hi, I'm new to keeping chickens in California. Today my daughter bought 10 new chicks.......of varying types. I am so excited, never kept chickens before. I have belonged to chicken groups before because I love chickens, have them as a theme in my kitchen. I am a California Native, and have grown kids.
