Hi all! We are just begining out backyard chicken keeping adventure. My family and I selected 6 chickens for our flock from Mt Healthy Hatchery. This was the minimum order for pick up. After getting the little chicks home to their warm safe brooder I watched them endlessly. I then noticed that they would hang out in groups. Three here, four there, five over there and two over here. That's right folks, we got 7! So then trying to figure out the breeds was very confusing. we were supposed to have a gold laced wyandotte, a silver laced wyandotte, golden comet, brahma, barred rock, and an easter egger. The best I can tell I KNOW we have the golden comet and barred rock, and probably the golden laced wyandotte, maybe 2 silver laced and two mysteries. I have a fluffy all yellow chick with feathered legs. AT first I thought maybe this was the brahma, but I cant find any photos of an ALL YELLOW brahma. Then I thought Salmon faverolle, but it only has three toes, not five. Any ideas chicken keepers??

! There is too much variability in baby chicks for me to ever make a good guess so I'll leave that to the experts! Best of luck to you whatever they turn out to be!
