I currently have four ducks, three are Pekin and one Rouen. I have 13 silkie chickens and 3 Rhode Island Reds. Not to forget my Orlopp Bronze turkey hen and a Broad Breasted White tom. Besides the eggs, I simply love watching my birds. Especially the little fuzzy silkies! Most of them are tame enough that I can pick them up and love on them. Besides being obsessed with my birds, I spend a lot of time with my other animals. Two of my dogs attend regular training for protection and tracking. Then other time is spend photographing my son during his rodeo events! I found BYC when I first got my chickens to learn all that I could and I lurked for a long time before deciding to join!
