Hey everyone! I am also new in NC. I grew up with chickens, but then was chickenless for 18 years, until recently. We moved into a friend's house and adopted his flock. I have 1 very spirited leghorn rooster, 4 barred rock hens, and one mysterious top hat hen. I've grown very attached. Unfortunately, my friend is giving the chickens soon to his grandma. But since they are laying fertilized eggs, I think we're going to dive into the world of incubating...so excited!
