(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
We first got chickens in April 2013. We bought some and rescued some and ended up with 4 roosters!

9 Red Sexlinks
1 California White
8 random bantmans. I'm not sure of the breeds but they all look different.

Searching on the internet to learn more about chickens.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Cat rescue. Stand up comedy.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My husband and I started an organic farm in March 2013. The chickens are our pets. We love the eggs but when they stop producing we will still love them. We are vegetarians. We have seven rescued cats as well. I am a vet tech at a veterinary office and at a cat sanctuary.
