Hi, Just checking out the whole chicken thing. We (kids and I) hatched 1 chicken from a science project last fall and adopted 2 more. We built our coop and now have 3 happy ladies wandering our backyard. My son enjoys their company and diligently cares for them and we are all rewarded with fresh backyard eggs! Does anyone know why our eggs are sometimes mealy when scrambled and cooked? They tasted great, but sometimes look odd. Other than that, all is well on the chicken front in Rescue!
