Can you ask other people in Poland what breeds of chicken do best in your weather ?

I can, mainly they recommend Leghorn but we have variety in Poland. Rhodeland is common as well I`m not really knowledgeable enough to make comments and recommendations, I can only share views of my countryman.
At the moment I am making sure that I will be able to secure space and materials to build a house for my future chickens, than I will look at best option regarding breed.
