Well a friend of mine gave me a chicken well we decided to get her a rooster. Not sure that was the greatest idea. Hope my neighbors don't kill me.

well I'm new here I'm from California and i just have 1 hen and 1 rooster ... for now

This morning when the rooster started crowing and woke me up 2 hours early to my normal waking hour i thought to myself man my dad is going to be mad at me. So here's hoping everything goes well. I have a Plymouth rock rooster and hen they seem to like each other.

We are going to have to build a whole new coop
the one we have can't be insulated at all. I don't live in City limits but close enough to it that homes are close together. I'm just hoping the neighbors don't get mad.

He was talking about getting chickens before so when my friend offered to give me hers i agreed to it
after asking him. Now he says it was all my idea. We traded our tiny rooster and chicken for a big rooster and a 50 lb bag of scratch feed.
