New in town

Hello! I live in the Oregon Willamette Valley. Have been raising chickens for 3 years for meat and eggs. I had some experience raising chickens as a child so was thrilled to get back into it. Currently we have 5 barred rock, 4 Novogen white and 1 rhode island red. We keep our chickens for two years of laying and then they're slaughtered for meat. I've loved reading the forums over the past few years to learn everything from how to rehabilitate spradle leg chicks to examining and diagnosing egg laying problems. I'm happy to feel that I'm at the point where I can contribute back to the community.
