new in Washington

The hens are a Welsummer, a Welbar, a Cream Legbar, and a blue-laced Barnevelder. The first three have similar coloring, but can be distinguished. The following picture shows the Welsummer and the Barnevelder.

My wife and I have been living in Washington for about two years with our cat. We have a daughter who recently graduated from college and lives in that college town in another state.

When we originally had chickens, I sometimes searched the forums on BYC, but never joined or posted ... like this.

Welcome! I grew up in Idaho and spent a lot of time in Washington. It’s a beautiful place! Your chickens are lovely, especially the Barnvelder!
