Can I add a duckling?

I have also been wondering how hard it would be to add a couple of ducklings. I think you would need more than one so it had company but I'm not sure. I read that they make a mess with water. I think they need to be let out of the pen to free range more than chickens do but I'm not an expert!

I might just wait until I find another coop for cheep no rush. But man are they cute!
When I do I want to do a tire pool for them!
