I built an incubator from the cabinet of an old black & white tv and put in a rack to roll the eggs by pushing and pulling a knob without opening the incubator.
Has anyone used an incubator with a roller instead of a tipper style turner?
Our humidity is very low here in the winter. I'm holding at about 24% with the vents closed and a 9 x 13 cake pan with water under the eggs. Any suggestions? I am thinking about hanging some strips of cheese cloth or something else into the water as wicks. I have a tube to add water to the pan without opening the door. I could add another tube to put water onto a sponge or piece of foam.
