I made two incubators, and have one with duck eggs going, and the second one I was going to put pheasant eggs in, but have been having issues with it. I made this one using a water bed thermostat, and tested it in the barn, and got steady temps at 98 degrees. I brought it into the house, and now I can't keep the temps above 95, will this be a problem, or should I take it back to the barn. The eggs have to go in today. Thanks

low temps will be a problem. The chicks won't develop properly. Seems strange that it kept warmer outside, do you have AC running?

Have you checked and calibrated your thermometer? I'd suspect that first.

I don't know what your house or barn look like or why it would work better in a barn in Michigan this time of year than it would in your house, especially with your night time temperatures. I sure cannot answer that question.

Good luck! Thermometers and thermostats can get aggravating.
