Hey everyone, my name is Amanda and I’m new to the community. I’ve wanted to raise chickens the majority of my teens/ adult years but never got the opportunity to do so. This year- I’ve got my own house and my own yard along with living in a city where I can. So I have 2 bantam black laced red Wyandotte’s (1 yr old this spring), 4 gold laced Wyandotte’s (chicks), and 2 buff orpington’s (chicks). They are lovely! I’ve been feverishly trying to build them the chicken dream home and I’m so excited to get it done! I’m hoping to find some good threads to follow and get some good info for my “City Chicks”! I’m so glad I found BYC!
