Yes...I've been a member for a few months, basically stalking the forums and learning, as well as making an occasional post. So, I figured it was a good time to finally introduce myself!
We don't have any chickens yet, but 4 ISA Brown chicks are coming April 1-2, and we've reserved some silkies, which hopefully will hatch either a little before, or a little after the ISA chicks get here. The ISA's are all going to be pullets, and fingers crossed, some of the silkies will be too!
But the current pets are a female lab/shepherd cross by the name of Mochi, and a thoroughbred/Belgian mare by the name of Kuri

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Pretty much new to chickens, though me and my family have been looking at getting some since summer 2009
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
None. We're getting 4 ISA Brown pullets, and 2 straight run silkies in April. We might add some feed store chicks to the mix as well
(3) What breeds do you have?
We will have ISA Browns and Silkies. And possibly some EE's or Laced Wyandottes from the local feed stores
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
I believe it was through google. Ya know, standard "how to take care of chickens search?", and of course, BYC chickens came up on the first page.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Horses, Culture(specially Japanese), Running, reading, writing, drawing, and messing with photoshop.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Well, my occupation is currently a sophomore high school student
I live with my wonderful parents, and two brothers, one being almost 12 at this time, and the other is five, and the most adorable kid in the world
My pets include a dog, Mochi, and a horse, Kuri.
