My name is Xenia and I live in North Carolina. I got three older Buff Orpingtons from a friend two years ago for my daycare kids to take care of, and now have expanded the flock. After some terrible Racoon attacks and two deaths, we seem to have figured things out and life is good with chickens. I have two boys and a wonderful (though uninvolved in all things chicken) husband, three rescue mutts and a garden.
Thanks for all helpful posts and information from the past and in the future. I learn something every time I am on this site, and hope to pass on information some day too.
