Add wire (chicken wire works) to the very bottom. Let it extend about 18-24" out. Use tent stakes to secure it. Animals don't like to dig in wire.

Thanks for the info! The coop is totally predator proof, part of the run that goes under the coop is not. Going to check out those boards!
