New Jersey

I can see the difference in breed characteristics. I have buff orpington, coco maran (not sure completely what he is ), and golden comets. I like them in that order. Buffs are so friendly. they are they are six weeks old, but they are already becoming lap chickens.
I do think one of the buffs is a cockerel. I love my orpingtons. maybe I can make more.

I am trying to re-home a Speckled Sussex cockerel. He's 11 weeks old (hatched Aug. 3), and extremely friendly. He's fine with my 7yo child. He's had constant human contact from 2 days old. I'm located in Bergen County, but am willing to drive him to a good home.

Yeah, it was pretty cold out last night. Killing frost here. It was actually 27, i think. Chickens seem fine. I decided today to cover the mesh on the door with wood. Temps are supposed to be warmer now, happily.

Hey, I live in Hampton Nj and have a bag of layers feed. It was a gift from someone but they got me the wrong feed. I use all flock and cannot use this. It's free I just dont want to waste it so if anybody wants it I'm willing to talk :)
