Hello New Keeper. My son has begun his survivalist ways. I wish your a life time of success. (but a mother worries ...so be kind to yours). I got my chickens because I fell in love with my son's. He recomeded "Storey's Guide to Rasing Chickens" Storeys has other animal books. I have found it and brousing around this website (I am quite new myself...still learning) to be VERY helpful. I am in Blair County....You?
