really cool site here I have been reading for a while took the big plunge and joined today.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I grew up around them most of my uncles had layers the whole time we were kids
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
none looking at building a bator and a coop
(3) What breeds do you have?
I mostly want to raise bantams
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?

small wooden boats fishing most outdoor things
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
large family my dad had 14 brothers and sisters 6 half brothers and sisters . just me and my wife she has 3 kids all grown don,t have any pets right now I have repaired commercial refrigeration for a really long time I can repair / fix most things set in front of me LOL I think I am going to build a bator first then a coopm oh yea I live in a city in Va called chesapeake
