New kid who loves chickens!

Hi! I am new to raising chickens and will be happy to hear and advice you have for me. My 11 year old granddaughter is going to be surprised when she comes for a visit this weekend and has some new pets at mawmaw's house!

I got three Americaunas...I actually have 3 granddaughters...Hannah 14, Riley 11, and Maddie's 9....they love all critters so will be so excited. They live close to San Antonio Texas.
I'll try to get Riley to send you a note when they get here...I haven't told them about the chickens yet

Welcome Rhodiesdaddy, glad to have you aboard. As mentioned there are alot of younger members around, and most states and even certain regions of states have their own threads so just wander about. After a few well placed searches you should find some conversations to hop right into. Also check for threads about your favorite breeds. and never hesitate to ask a questions SOMEONE here knows an answer, or three, for it.
