New Kittens and Dogs?

They should have to go by now.

They might not be relaxed enough yet. Put them in a small quiet room by themselves and set them in the litterbox and leave them for a while.

woke up this morning and they still haven't gone.

any ideas the were in our bathroom all alone last night and they run to the bathroom for safety if the dogs get too rowdy so they think its a safe place.

Put them one at a time in the box and take their front paw and scratch the litter with it. Give it a minute. Do this once an hour and they will learn.

Just got home from work and there were two poos and a pee in the box and a pee on the floor! yay 75 percent for the first time using one is pretty good in my opinion

When you're not supervising them, keep them in a small space (like a bathroom) and they should figure out the litterbox on their own.

It's great you got 2 of them. I always try to keep cats in pairs because they like the company. Cats take much longer to adjust so let them get used to the house and the sounds of the dogs, then slowly (over weeks) get them used to having the dogs around. Do the dogs go in crates, so the kittens can see them without feeling overwhelmed? Or have the dogs (one at a time is perfect) on leash or laying down so the kittens don't feel threatened. Don't force it, and let the kittens do it at their own pace. Kittens are fairly adaptable and they'll come around. Just take it SLOW, especially when they're already stressed about a new home. Too much stress and you'll end up with diarrhea or sick kittens.

THe cat loves nothing more than to be up high on something and look down on the lowly dog.

They are all getting along great now. The cream has given up hissing at the dogs because my Vinny is so in its face it has just realized it can't make him go away

Both of them are trying to lick the poor kittens to death. We have named the tortishell Tortuga and it is just adoreable to watch it walk right up to the dogs curl around their legs and let them lick its head like a million times. They have already figured out the litterbox haven't had anymore accidents and mew at me when i walk in the bathroom because they want to be let out to explore and cuddle. Pictures still a work in progress something about the camera flash and buzzing during the picture taking wigs them our
