I have a new lady to keep Harriet company! Another Sussex 18 weeks. I have kept the H theme and called her Hortense. I put her in the coop at dusk after Harriet had retired. So I will see how she goes on.
I keep meeting some lovely people who keep chickens. I met a man today who also lost a hen to a prolapse just after she was coming out of the moult, like Henrietta, and she also had whit chalky poo. So I leaned quite a lot about what to look out for.
