Today, I walked by the ducks' kiddie pool and spotted an egg in the water. It had to come from one of my young runners who started laying about a week and a half ago. At first, she was nicely laying her egg in the corner of her shelter. Then, one day, I found one in the middle of the yard. Now. this.
I hope she doesn't repeat this egg-in-the-pool thing. She clearly doesn't understand that we don't wash our eggs here until we are ready to use them.
