Hey yall im Becky im just starting my first chicken coop with my husb and daughter

Are you enjoying the chicken world so far? Or have you gotten any chickens yet?

There's so much you can do with chickens eggs, meat, pet, show. It's sounds by the way you said "my first chicken coop" that you hope to get more and expand in the future. Am I right?

Thanks we haven't got our chickens yet but are going to this weekend starting out with 6

Nice to meet you Becky. The place to look for friends would be your state thread. You may find chickeners that live near you. Go to "where am I, where are you," in the social forum and then locate and post on your state thread. BYC has over 320,000 members around the globe but, the Florida thread will have folks closer to your home.
