hey everyone, today I picked up an Adult male Muscovy to add to my flock of four female Muscovys who are just starting to lay for the first time. When I introduced them to him the females started chasing him around pecking at his face and wouldn’t leave him alone. So I ended up separating all but one of the females from him. I want him to breed with them, will they settle down and stop pecking at his face?! The one I left with him was chasing him around in the pen, but he is able to escape her if he really needs to. The pen is a 50’ sea container! He is literally four times bigger than her so I couldn’t see her hurting him too much?! Should I introduce them to him one at a time over the course of a few days? Or just let them all go at him? I don’t really know what to do! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Well you need to put him on one side of fencing the girls on the other let them live like that for a few days then let them out together. He has invaded. Their territory . Give them a few days to get use to him.

Why don’t you just keep them separated for a fee weeks and introduce them slowly but at least just let them see each other through a wire fence like you do with chickens.
