I've got a trio of Dorkings, picked up last Monday... roo and 2 hens, hatched last April or so.

Hubby noticed breeding activity today, but so far no eggs...

any idea how long they might take to start laying again? previous owner said they were laying before I got them.

When you move birds from one place to another it can be a couple weeks before they start up laying again. Also, here in NY I had to start adding light to the coop, since it's getting darker alot earlier.

light is on the 'to do' list for the big coop, but right now they're in a portable pen/doghouse...

i'll just keep checking the nest
