New Member 6 hens 1 big fat roo

Hello, I'm Mark
I've had chickens as a kid and helped out with a flock when I rented a place on a ranch but now I have my own 6 acre place and got my own chickens a bit over a year ago and have had nothing but problems with predators (coyote), an unwanted big fat mean roo, diseases like CRD, Egg drop syndrome....my chicken experience is not living up to my expectations unfortunately. With six hens I'm lucky to get one egg a day with all of the diseases. I don't remember having all of these diseases back in the 1980s.
