Hey guys! New to the group. Looking to retain all this useful and helpful information and share a few laughs at the same time. Below you will learn a little about me and my quacks.
- Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens
- I have ducklings and this is my second go around with them- I either had the easiest first set or just don't remember how much poop there was!
- How many chickens do you have right now?
- Zero chickens but 3 ducklings at the moment
- What breeds do you have?
- I have three separate breeds which I am trying to determine two of the newbies- I have picture uploaded on my profile for some help with two. I know for certain the yellow one is Pekin- she's a goof and so much fun. Little black one has really started to display iridescent colors such as blue and green so I am assuming Cayuga, and lastly my favourite sweet brown one just started showing signs of a green head so drake for sure but Rouen or Mallard would be my guess.
- What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
- Well first, I have really enjoyed watching them grow into their own little character. Yes, the smallest is the most brave, while the biggest can be a git timid.
- What are some of your other hobbies?
- I love woodworking and actually build their coop simply from an idea and it turned out amazing. I will upload a picture below-they will have about an 8ft run that i'm fencing currently but this is home!
- Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?

- I have known for about 6 months now and have been actively following posts for ideas when finally I decided to join and share in on the fun!
