Hello! I am excited to be part of the group and learn and enjoy. I've raised chickens for about 13 years but we are new to hatching our own the past 3 years and it's so exciting.

We have 7 in our flock right now but just got 7 chicks. We have americaunas, Marans, lavender orphington, a silkie and a polish.

We're hatching out Ayam Cimani, cream Legbar, Easter eggers, Marans, whiting true blue and olive egger.

We just love the silly sweet personalities of our chickens. Each is named and loved! I also homeschool my 5 kids and we have a little one also.

This is also our first year to have quail. They should be hatching in a week. We're soooo excited. My daughter loves her chickens and is super excited for quail.

We also have three cats. One is a Sphynx! We have a salt water fish tank that we love too.

My goal this year is to raise really awesome breeds and plan for some super cool crosses!

I used to keep quail. They too are super fun to keep! Big personality in tiny packages!!
