Hi! New to the site, as well as raising chickens! Well, we had some when I was younger but this is the first time I have raised them myself. We purchased an Orpington, 2 Cochin, and 2 Silkies back in November before Thanksgiving. Unfortunately we lost a Cochin and both Silkies. The breeder said they sometimes don't make it? They were only a day or two old when we got them. So we purchased another 2 Orpington and a Silkie before Christmas. While I am sure of the colors of the Orpingtons and Cchin, the SilkieSilkie has me stumped. I was told by the breeder that it would be blue or gray, but after looking I am wondering if she is a splash? Any opinions would be appreciated and we are looking forward to taking care of our new chicks and being a part of this online community! Thanks!
